About Us

I’m Tiera Purvis, creator of North Nine Creative! I was born and raised in Shelbyville, Indiana, where I currently reside with my wonderful husband Ben, and our two kiddos, Lydia (4) and Roman (3). 

In all the spare time that accompanies having littles, we enjoy traveling a few times a year, doing all things soccer (coach’s wives unite!), supporting IU basketball, spending time with family and friends, and exercising. I serve on the board for Shelby Senior Services, where I have enjoyed being a part of a wonderful team to plan a fundraising gala each year with Girls, Inc! We are also members of Shelbyville Community Church. 

North Nine Creative has been prayed about for quite some time, after leaving a job I LOVED to do something I love even more — staying home with my babies. Prior to being a SAHM, I worked for Edward Jones as a Regional BOA, where I spent a majority of my work time planning events for 50+ branches in central Indiana. Some of these events would be multi-day, offsite events in other states that included entire families of the Financial Advisors. (As a spouse of a Financial Advisor, I was able to reap the benefits of my labor by attending these events as well!)

My love for and experience in planning celebrations, parties, meetings, and events for so many wonderful Edward Jones clients and families at the firm translated well into the birth of North Nine Creative, where I can plan for YOU! Whether it's for class celebrations for your littles, for gifts for your mother, for the wedding of your best friend, or for the retirement of a colleague, every celebration gets the same intricate attention. The same detail that went into the larger events will be the same attention that goes into smaller, more intimate celebrations. Serving others is truly what feeds my soul. It would be an honor to serve you.
